Privacy Policy

The short version

We collect what we need to run your recruiting profile and outreach tools, we don't sell your data, your academic details are private by default and only shared with coaches you personally send a link to, and you can delete your account and data whenever you want.

What we collect

• Account info: name, email, and password (stored securely by our authentication provider, Supabase — we never see your plaintext password).
• Profile info you add: grad year, position, high school, club team, height/wingspan, athletic stats, GPA, test scores, intended major, profile photo, and highlight video links.
• Recruiting activity you create: saved schools and lists, camps you're watching, coach contacts, and notes you write.
• Basic usage signals: when your public profile link is opened, so you know when a coach has viewed it.

What we don't collect

We don't use third-party advertising trackers, and we don't sell or rent your information to anyone. We're not affiliated with any school, athletic program, the NCAA, or the NAIA, and we don't share your data with them beyond what you choose to send directly.

Who can see your information

Your public profile page shows your athletic info, stats, highlight video, and identity — it's reachable only via the link you share, and it's configured to be excluded from search engine indexing. Your academic information (GPA, test scores, intended major) is never included on that public page. It's only visible through a private, per-coach link generated when you use the Outreach feature — and you can turn any individual coach's access off at any time.

Where your data lives

Your data is stored with Supabase, a database and authentication provider that uses row-level security so that, outside of what you explicitly share, only you can access your own records.

Minors' privacy

Court Connect is built primarily for high school athletes, many of whom are minors. We don't knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you're under 18, we ask that a parent or guardian be aware of your use of the app. Because recruiting profiles are inherently meant to be shared with coaches, we've built sharing to be deliberate and revocable rather than public and permanent: nothing is indexed by search engines, sensitive academic info requires a link you personally send, and every link you send can be turned off.

Your rights

You can view and edit most of your information directly in the app. To request a full export or deletion of your account and data, email us at the address below — we'll process it promptly.

Changes to this policy

If we make a material change to how we handle your data, we'll update the date at the top of this page.
